After your Botox injections, you may see small red dots at the injection site. These will disappear within a day or so. It is best not to lie down for at least four hours after treatment so that the Botox has time to settle. Do not rub or massage the treated area on the first day, and don’t engage in strenuous exercise for the first 12 hours. It is also important not to drink alcohol excessively during the first 24 hours. Alcohol is a blood thinner and could exacerbate bruising. You may feel flu-like symptoms, but this is rare. Some reddening at the injection site is also possible
The average cost of Botox is determined by the number of units needed, with each syringe containing 100 units. The amount of Botox required depends on individual factors such as age, the severity of wrinkles, and muscle strength. Fortunately, only a few units are typically necessary to achieve noticeable, rejuvenating results, making it a cost-effective option for many.
Botox lasts approximately three to four months, so we advise you to get injections approximately every three months for best results.
The needles used to inject Botox are extremely small and cause very little discomfort. If you are afraid of the pain, which is more like a gentle pinch, we can apply numbing cream to your face to alleviate any discomfort you may feel.
You can’t use Botox on the lips for enlargement. However, you can use Botox above the lip for “Lip Flip.”
During a lip flip procedure, your provider injects Botox into parts of your upper lip. After about a week, the injections make your lip look fuller or “poutier” without adding any volume to your lip. Lip flips generally look more natural than lip fillers.
