Tanya is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She began her nursing career in 2006 working in emergency/trauma medicine and has been a nurse practitioner since 2014, board certified by The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of the Society of Nurses in Advanced Practice. Tanya has vast experience including emergency medicine, vascular specialty, dermatology, and aesthetics. Originally from England, she always knew she would work in medicine. She is a proud Air Force veteran where she spent 10 years serving as an emergency medical technician.
After separating from the Air Force, Tanya completed her Bachelor of Nursing degree from Old Dominion University graduating Magna Cum Laude and worked as an emergency/trauma nurse for 6 years. Eventually, she desired to do more and completed her Master of Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Herzing University graduating with honors in 2014. Tanya always held interest and the desire to work in dermatology and aesthetics and was able to join the specialty when she moved to Jacksonville. She enjoys the challenges, rewards and artistry of aesthetics and looks forward to continuing to build her practice and relationships with her patients. During her free time, Tanya spends time with her husband and daughter and two spoiled dogs. Her hobbies include walking, hot yoga, home projects and cooking.
